What is Labiaplasty NYC?

Labiaplasty surgery, also known as vaginal rejuvenation surgery, vaginoplasty, or “mommy makeover”, is a cosmetic surgical procedure performed by a board-certified gynecologist or plastic surgeon to alter the appearance of the labia minora (inner labia) and labia majora through precise incisions. Labiaplasty is a cosmetic surgery that addresses aesthetic concerns regarding the vaginal area. Two popular surgical techniques are the edge and the wedge technique.

While anyone with a vagina who has gone through puberty might be eligible for labiaplasty, it is an especially popular procedure for women who have undergone damage from childbirth or are experiencing natural but negative side effects of aging.

Our Great City Medical board-certified gynecologist performs labiaplasty procedures in NYC at our AAAASF approved outpatient facility. Labiaplasty is a minor surgical procedure, and all procedures are performed under general anesthesia (sedation).
