Ofrecemos un tipo de DIU de cobre, llamado Paragard, y es la opción anticonceptiva no hormonal.
Paragard existe desde hace más de 30 años. Una vez insertado, proporciona una protección continua contra el embarazo durante un máximo de 10 años.
Paragard es un plástico blando y flexible en forma de T que está envuelto en una fina capa de cobre y tiene dos finos hilos que cuelgan de la parte inferior pero no se extienden fuera del cuerpo.
Es probable que sigas teniendo un ciclo menstrual mensual con el DIU de cobre. Al principio, es posible que la menstruación sea más abundante y que aumente el manchado entre los ciclos, pero esto debería disminuir con el tiempo.
Paragard puede extraerse en cualquier momento tras su inserción. Si deseas quedarte embarazada, la mayoría de las mujeres pueden conseguirlo en el primer año tras la extracción del DIU. Si no deseas quedarte embarazada después de la extracción del DIU, se recomienda que utilices otros métodos anticonceptivos.

Excellent service it’s a lot better than what it used to be and I am grateful for that.. doctor is wonderful.. and the PCA’s that work there are the best all of the women are caring and patient.. they make you feel welcomed..
