Great City Medical is Offering COVID-19 Antibody Testing 

  • Covered by insurance
  • Call ahead and by appointment only
  • The test is done by a single tube of blood drawn and sent to the lab for analysis. Results come back within three days
  • Self-pay pricing is $60 for the visit + $55 for the test. Total comes out to $115

 

Telemedicine

In-order to help fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus as well as to ensure everyone’s health; we are making changes on how and when we will see patients. All patients will first be required to schedule a “phone visit” with the provider before scheduling an office visit. During this phone visit, the doctor will be able to go over your results, prescribe any necessary medication, and address all your questions and concerns. If the provider deems essential that you should come in, you will be transferred to the receptionist, who will assist you in scheduling your appointment.

No patient will be allowed to see the doctor before having a “phone visit” with the provider first.

Social Distancing

To minimize the number of patients in our waiting area, we’re adjusting our scheduling protocol. We ask all patients not to come any earlier than 10 minutes before their appointment. To keep a safe distance in our waiting area, we request you to go to your appointment alone.

Our Advice

If you need a refill on a medication, you can call our office at 212-281-8600. We’ll refill your prescription over the phone and answer any of your questions that you have.
If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, do not panic. Remain home, stay well hydrated, and try and isolate your direct interactions with family members. If your condition does not improve within three days or you are experiencing chest pain and or shortness of breath, you should go to the nearest emergency room. We also advise that all non-urgent follow-up appointments reschedule for next month.

Keeping Everyone Safe

Great City Medical is screening each patient for COVID-19 over the phone. If a patient has any of the symptoms when they call, we will isolate them during their visit. After their visit, we will clean all surfaces with disinfecting wipes along with limiting their exposure to the other patients.
While we know that these changes are frustrating to our patients, we’re keeping everyone safe. We’re moving hour-by-hour to provide clear communication while serving the community safely.
